We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Inglis Vets on a part-time permanent basis. We are a Veterinary Group with branch surgeries across Fife, Kinross and Edinburgh, with our main hospital based in Dunfermline, Fife. We have a great team and are committed to providing the highest level of veterinary care and customer service to our clients and their pets.

You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction. You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

Part-time, 10 hours per week Saturday day shifts based at our busy main hospital in Dunfermline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone calls and respond to client emails
  • Welcome clients and check patients in for appointments
  • Process payments accurately
  • Complete general administrative duties, including scanning documents and creating invoices
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Client Care and clinical teams to deliver an excellent client experience
