We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Downland Vets on a part‑time basis. This role is based at our Chichester clinic, part of a group of nine practices that offer strong collaboration and support. We are conveniently located near the gorgeous city centre, and our site is well‑equipped, featuring theatre facilities, kennels, an in‑house laboratory, digital x‑ray, ultrasound, three consulting rooms, and dental x‑ray. Our veterinary team rotates across the clinics, with typically one to two vets on site each day, supported by four RVNs and a dedicated reception team.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. This role entails 30 hours per week, working between 8 am and 7 pm, ideally 3 x 10‑hour shifts, or 4 shorter shifts can be accommodated if preferred. There is a requirement to be part of the 1:4 Saturday morning rota, with shifts between 8 am and 11 am, with time off during the week if worked.
