Salary of up to £70,000 DOE. Relocation allowance of up to £5,000. Welcome bonus of up to £3,000.

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team on a full‑time basis at our Chalfont St Giles and Beaconsfield surgeries. The Wheelhouse has been established for over 50 years and puts a strong emphasis on clinical excellence and team engagement. With 4 branches and a total of 42 clinical team members (14 Vets and 20 Nurses), we are a team who support each other and can deal with most of the clinical work that walks (or is carried) through the door.

This position would look to pay up to £70,000 DOE and it would be working a four‑day week with a weekend rota included (Saturdays only). An additional qualification, or interest in Endoscopy and Endosurgery or Oncology is preferred but not essential for this role. We would also offer a generous relocation allowance if you were looking to move to the local area.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

Wheelhouse Vets are a fully equipped and modernised RCVS accredited practice striving to achieve the highest standard of care in South Buckinghamshire. We are very well equipped with endoscope, laparoscopic bitch spays, ultrasound scanner, DR and CR Radiography, Class 4 Laser, and 4 consultation rooms. We have Vets who have completed or are undergoing certificates in surgery (including orthopaedics), internal medicine, feline medicine, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology and ECC.
