We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at AlphaPet on a part-time basis. At Alphapet Veterinary Clinic, we are passionate about delivering exceptional care to our patients and first-class service to their owners. How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction. You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non‑clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
Working Pattern
- 25 hours per week
- Shifts between 8:00am – 7:00pm across our three surgeries
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming clients and their pets with a professional and caring approach
- Answering calls, responding to enquiries and managing appointment bookings
- Supporting the day‑to‑day running of a busy reception area
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate client records
- Liaising effectively with the veterinary and nursing teams
- Keeping the reception area clean, calm and inviting
