We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at South Wales Vets on a full‑time basis. South Wales Vets is a busy and supportive small animal practice committed to delivering high standards of patient care and excellent client service. How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
This is a full‑time role working 40 hours per week across 4 days, with shifts between 8:30 am and 7:00 pm. There is also a 1 in 4 Saturday rota working 9:00 am–6:00 pm.
General responsibilities include:
- Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload
- Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
- Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery
- Support client communication and preventative healthcare initiatives
