Head Veterinary Receptionist in Yeovil

We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic Head Veterinary Receptionist to lead our exceptional team of receptionists at Kingston Vets. You will be based across our two sites in the picturesque regions of Somerset and Dorset. This role is based across both our fantastic sites in Yeovil and Sherborne.

Duties include;

*Supporting the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

*Involvement with various aspects of training and ensuring the team are confident in all aspects of their role

*Recruitment – assist with interviewing and carrying out inductions for all new starters

*Assisting with rotas, sorting holiday/sickness cover and monthly submissions for payroll

*Managing the diary

*Fire Marshall duties and Health & Safety

*Supporting the Practice Director as required

*Working collaboratively with the clinical teams

The ideal candidate will have previous managerial experience, be approachable, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset. We are looking for someone who leads by example and is dedicated to working alongside the team each week to foster collaboration and excellence. A passion for working with both people and their pets is essential Veterinary experience would be great however we are open to applicants from similar industries or with transferable skills.

Your shift pattern

You will work 40 hours per week Monday – Friday, with some inclusion in weekend work on a rota based on business needs.
