About Rowe Cat Clinic
Rowe Cat Clinic is a feline-exclusive practice dedicated to providing exceptional, stress‑free care for our feline patients and peace of mind for their owners. Our team is passionate about advanced feline medicine and patient welfare. The clinic houses dental radiography, ultrasound, an in‑house lab suite and separate feline wards, ensuring a calm and professional environment for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Exceptional Patient Care: Consistently deliver the highest standard of nursing care to hospitalized feline patients, including monitoring and health checking.
- Anaesthesia and Surgery: Prepare cats for surgery, monitor general anaesthesia using multi-parameter monitoring equipment, and assist veterinary surgeons during operations.
- Nurse‑led Clinics: Conduct various nurse‑led appointments such as dental hygiene, weight clinics, senior cat checks and diabetes monitoring.
- Diagnostics and Lab Work: Perform diagnostic tests, including blood sampling, urine analysis and X‑rays, and manage in‑house laboratory work.
- Client Communication: Educate and reassure pet owners on preventative healthcare, treatment plans and general feline wellbeing, building strong, trusting relationships.
- Mentorship & Hygiene: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the practice, and support student veterinary nurses if applicable.
About The Team
You will work closely with one or two vets each day, including Dr. Liz Jennings BVSc, CertAVP SAM‑F, MANZCVS, MRCVS — an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Feline Medicine — and our Clinical Lead. You will also be supported by two other Veterinary Surgeons who are currently working towards certificates in feline medicine and surgery. Depending on the day, another Veterinary Nurse may be running clinics, allowing you to focus fully on procedures. Our team also includes a dedicated Care Assistant and two exceptional Receptionists who help ensure the smooth running of the clinic.
