How You'll Make a Difference
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team at St George’s Vets. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and personable individual who thrives in a busy environment and is committed to delivering a high standard of client care. As the first point of contact for our practice, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience for clients and their pets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients
- Managing telephone and email enquiries
- Scheduling appointments
- Processing payments
- Supporting the team with a range of administrative duties
Working Pattern
This is a flexible cover role providing support across all nine of our sites. The position involves working shifts between 8:00am and 6:45pm, Monday to Friday, with participation in a Saturday rota (approximately one in every three Saturdays, 8:00am to 4:15pm). The successful candidate will be contracted to 15 hours a week with regular overtime opportunities available of up to an extra 20 hours a week during high holiday periods. Shift patterns vary from week to week to meet operational needs; however, your schedule will be provided at least four weeks in advance to support effective planning.

Previous experience within a veterinary or medical environment is desirable; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
