This position offers a 41‑hour week, structured across four working days from 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., with a 1:8 weekend rota and an additional day off after working a weekend, allowing for excellent work‑life balance. You will be supported with extended consultations and will have your own consulting list. You will start with routine appointments, gradually moving to more complex or unwell patients. Full surgical support is provided, working alongside another vet on a 1:1 basis until you feel confident to undertake procedures independently. Regular case discussions help support learning and reflection.
Responsibilities
- Attend routine appointments and progressively manage more complex or unwell patients.
- Provide extended consultations and manage your own consulting list under supervision.
- Participate in case discussions and in‑house CPD sessions.
- Assist with surgical procedures under the guidance of an experienced vet.
- Follow clinic policies and support patient care in designated dog, cat, and isolation wards.
Qualifications
- Graduated veterinary degree (or equivalent graduate level qualification).
