Hall Place Veterinary Centre has an exciting opportunity for a new receptionist to join their team. The successful person will join our friendly team of vets, nurses and fellow receptionists at our Pinkney’s Green surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting clients and their pets on arrival
  • Efficiently managing the diaries, booking/cancelling or re-arranging appointments, handling online bookings and maintaining client records
  • General Administration duties as requested
  • Processing payments, cashing up at the end of the day
  • Managing client orders and repeat prescriptions

Hall Place Veterinary Centre is a long-established, thriving small animal practice with three sites. Pinkney’s Green, our hospital branch, is located in a picturesque barn conversion in the countryside, backed by two smaller branches in the bustling villages of Bourne End and Marlow.

The perfect fit

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual passionate about delivering outstanding client care. Able to apply a calm, compassionate, and professional approach is essential, especially in emotionally challenging situations. Successful candidates should have prior reception experience, ideally in the veterinary sector, though this is not essential, as additional training will be provided. Have excellent communication skills. Enjoy building strong relationships with our clients, taking pride in delivering a high standard of service.

Your shift pattern

You will work primarily at our main surgery in Pinkneys Green, with occasional cover at our branch practices. The role offers up to 30 hours per week, worked on a rota basis between 8 am and 7 pm. Saturday cover is also required on a rota basis, from 8 am to 3:30 pm.
