Park Veterinary Centre in Leavesden is looking for a caring and confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our consulting‑only clinic on a part‑time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys nurse clinics, building strong client relationships, and working within a small, friendly team.
Role Details
You will play a key part in supporting our consulting‑only service at Leavesden, assisting the vet with appointments, running nurse clinics, offering advice to clients and ensuring every owner and pet receives excellent care. You will also help coordinate any cases that need transferring to our fully equipped Watford hospital.
Work Schedule
22 to 25 hours per week. One long day 8:30 am–7 pm. One or two Saturday mornings every four weeks, 8:30 am–1 pm. Additional weekday mornings preferred. Further hours available for annual leave cover. Part‑time, £17,050 DOE for 22 hours.

Park Veterinary Centre has been a trusted part of the Hertfordshire community for over 100 years. Our Leavesden branch is a consulting‑only clinic with a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, while our larger Watford site provides full surgical and medical facilities including laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital and dental X‑ray and advanced monitoring equipment. We are proud to be an RCVS GP Training Practice and place a strong emphasis on teamwork, client care and professional development.
