Role Details
As an RVN at Park Veterinary Centre, you'll cover all areas of nursing, including theatre, ward, pharmacy, and nurse clinics. We actively support nurses in pursuing individual areas of interest - many of our team members currently have special interests in exotics and behaviour. You'll work closely with our vets and support staff as part of a cohesive team focused on delivering the highest standards of care to our patients and clients.
Work Schedule
Full-time hours are 40 per week, across up to four weekdays between 8am and 8pm. Weekends are limited to one in four Saturdays until 4.30pm and one in 12 Saturday mornings. There are no Sundays or Bank Holidays, and out-of-hours care is covered by Vets Now. Part-time arrangements would also be considered.
About the Practice
Park Veterinary Centre has been serving Hertfordshire for over 100 years and holds RVCS GP training status. Our practice offers advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities including laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, and a range of monitoring equipment. Located in Watford, the practice combines the charm of beautiful countryside with excellent transport links, including trains to London in approximately 35 minutes.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a committed Registered Veterinary Nurse who shares our passion for animals, patient welfare, and client care. Ideally you will have solid practical skills and enjoy a busy, varied practice environment. As a training practice, we're also happy to support candidates nearing the end of their training or those who would like to refresh their skills.
Salary: Up to Β£35,000 DOE
Hours: Full or part-time, 40 hours per week
