Veterinary Surgeon - Feline Only - Saturdays Only

Overview

Veterinary Surgeon – Feline Only – Saturdays Only at The Cat Clinic. We are seeking a vet to cover four hours on Saturday mornings from 8:00am to 12:00pm with RVN and Receptionist support. The Cat Clinic is a two-vet, feline-only practice located on a busy high street near Portsmouth coastline in Southsea. The clinic is well equipped with digital radiography including dental, k-laser, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory; it is an accredited RCVS Practice Standards Clinic and ISFM feline-friendly.

There is flexibility to work each Saturday or on a 1:2 or 1:3 basis, and there is the opportunity to cover holidays on weekday shifts if desired. All emergency cases are diverted to Vets Now from midday, so this role does not require on-call or out-of-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary medical care focused on cats, including consulting and sole-charge duties during Saturday shifts.
• Collaborate with RVN and Receptionist support to deliver high-quality patient care and client service.

Qualifications

• Qualified veterinary surgeon eligible to practice in the UK.
• Passion for feline medicine with a professional, kind, and proactive approach.
• Ability to work effectively both independently (sole charge) and within a team.
