We are hiring! We are excited to offer a rare and rewarding opportunity for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our practice. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working at a fast pace and working as part of a team!
This role is up to 30 hours per week. The shifts will differ, but rotas will be sent 4 weeks in advance.
The working hours will be between 8 am – 7 pm Monday‑Friday and Saturdays 8:30 am – 12:30 pm.
Our Reception Team
Our reception team is an integral part of our practice, and we work hard together to ensure that every client is welcomed and supported by the whole team when in the practice. They are the core of the practice in ensuring it is run effectively and efficiently.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Ensuring the smooth running of our front of house
- Greeting clients on arrival
- Delivering exceptional service
- Taking payments
- Booking future appointments
- Dealing with day‑to‑day queries
- Ensuring daily duties are performed
- Delivering on company KPIs
- Administration duties such as answering client emails, sending out emails and signing up clients to our Pet Health Plan
Our ideal candidate
- A proven background in reception duties (experience in the veterinary sector is desirable but not a must)
- Outgoing
- Confident communication/interpersonal skills
- Providing a smooth and professional service at all times
- Passionate about customer service
- A high standard of personal presentation
- Happy using computers on a daily basis and confident with systems such as Outlook is essential
