Cedarmount Veterinary Clinic is a busy Veterinary Clinic in Bangor, Co Down, and is part of Independent Vetcare. We are a dedicated team of enthusiastic people who work together to provide the best possible care for our pets and clients.
As the first point of contact for our clients in a busy environment you will be required to ensure all clients and their pets have a comfortable and positive experience within the surgery, meeting and greeting clients, answering the telephone, booking appointments, signing up new clients, taking payments, record keeping and providing information on our products and services such as our Pet Health Club whilst maintaining a clean clinical environment in waiting and consult rooms.
Our ideal candidate
*Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital is preferred but experience in other animal care roles will be considered.
*Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
*Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism
*Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling appointments and managing patient records
*Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
*Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
Your shift pattern
You will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m, and 1 Saturday in 6, 8 a.m and 2 p.m There is no OOH requirement for this role.
