We are looking for a friendly and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist who is dedicated to providing exceptional client care to join our team in Cwmbran.

As an essential part of our practice team you will be responsible for:

  • Taking phone calls, answering queries and booking appointments
  • Greeting clients and their pets on arrival
  • Check-in patients and verify their information
  • Update patient records and ensure attention to detail
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Dispensing medication
  • Maintain cleanliness of reception area and consult rooms
  • Administration duties such as emails and signing up clients to our Pet Health Plan.

More about you

We are looking for someone who is organised, able to multitask in a busy environment and someone who can demonstrate a good level of interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

Working pattern

You will work 30 hours per week, arranged on a rota. Working hours between 8 am and 7 pm Mon-Fri plus 1 in 4 Saturday shifts 8.30 am – 1 pm
