Wood Street Veterinary Hospital is a busy, 24-hour, RCVS-accredited Tier 3 hospital. We are proud to deliver gold standard care to every patient and are committed to excellence in everything we do. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) to join our dedicated team.
About The Role
As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will support all areas of the hospital, working alongside our team of vets, nurses, and support staff. Duties will be varied and include assisting with inpatient care, maintaining cleanliness throughout the hospital, supporting procedures, and ensuring the comfort and welfare of our patients. This is a full-time position on a one-year fixed-term contract. You will work a variety of shifts, including early shifts, late shifts, and weekends, with days off in lieu.

- Previous experience working with animals or as a VCA is advantageous but not essential β full training will be provided

Shift Pattern
Full-time role working 40 hours per week. You will cover a variety of 8 hour shifts ranging from between the hours of 7 am β 9 pm closing, with inclusion in the 1:2 Saturday rota with TOIL.
