Join our two-site small animal practice in Monmouthshire and work in a supportive, team-led environment. Salary up to £75,000 FTE DOE, depending on experience. The main surgery and a branch are within a ten-minute drive of the Monmouthshire river, with a walk-in kennel, dental theatre, X-ray, endoscopy and OT ready for daily use.

Responsibilities

  • Consult, diagnose and treat a mix of small animal cases across the main surgery and branch.
  • Provide surgical and inpatient care on a shared rota with 6 surgeons.
  • Occasionally act as sole charge on selected days.
  • Share OOH duties with local VetsNow; no dedicated on-site OOH rota.
  • Support the training and progression of team members.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified veterinary surgeon.
  • Confidence of single charge desirable but not essential.
  • Friendly, approachable and a strong team player.
  • Passionate about patient care and maintaining very high clinical standards.
