Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day running of our practice.
- Reception duties such as booking in clients and small animal consultations.
- Taking payments and answering telephones.
- Organising vets and nurses' diaries.
- Handling medications and administrative tasks.
Our ideal candidate
- A team player who can maintain their sense of humour at busy times.
- The ability to multitask is a prerequisite, as is empathy with pet owners.
- Previous experience working in a veterinary receptionist environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Proficient IT skills are a requirement.
- A full UK driving license is also required.

Shift pattern
This is a part-time role working 24 hours per week, entailing 4 x 6-hour shifts Monday - Friday between 8 am - 7:30 pm. You will also be required to work 1:6 Saturdays on a rota.
