How You’ll Make a Difference
- Stock rotation and checking of expiry date
- Ordering stock and restocking in the different areas of the building
- Unpacking orders and ensuring they are stored in the appropriate manner and temperature
- Stock storage temperature monitoring
- Assist in organising stock lists and stock take processes
- Timely sorting and organising of special orders for customers, ensuring they are ready for collection as soon as possible
- Clear communication with clients regarding their products being ready for collection, or issues with supply
- Maintaining the consulting rooms stock and cleanliness to ensure smooth running of consultations, including efficient customer service after their consultation of their medication to take home
- Clear communication to the whole team of stock issues and efficient timely investigation of alternative products or suppliers where needed
- Maintaining the dispensary cleanliness and organisation
- Running of blood and urine samples in our in-house lab and updating patient records accordingly
- Packaging samples to be run at our external labs in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintaining client and stock records accurately
- Maintaining the biosecurity of the building
- Assisting with washing bedding
- Patient restraint for consultations or procedures in a calm, kind effective manner
- Work as a team member including helping to maintain and improve morale and effective communication
- Maintain health and safety procedures at all times
- Assist nurses/vets to administer medication or perform procedures
- Attending to inpatients: general observations regarding demeanour and behaviour
- Walking/exercising of patients; feeding; grooming; cleaning and bathing; stimulation and reassurance/comfort
- Travel between sites is required
