As part of Central Functions, you will be part of the teams that support and enable our network of over 2,500 practices across 20 countries, driving operational excellence, innovation, and strategic impact across the business.

Are you a skilled property professional ready to play a key role in shaping and managing a large, diverse UK estate? We’re looking for an experienced Estate Manager to help ensure our extensive portfolio of over 1,100 properties remains efficient, compliant, and future‑ready, covering the North East and Scotland. The position is initially being offered as 3 years FTC.

In this role, you’ll act as the central point of expertise for Landlord & Tenant matters, supporting operational teams, engaging with external stakeholders, and helping us make strategic, high‑value decisions that protect and enhance our estate.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of a varied UK property portfolio (commercial, residential, mixed‑use).
  • Manage the full lease lifecycle: rent reviews, renewals, surrenders, and ongoing tenancy matters.
  • Provide expert guidance in monthly Property Review Meetings.
  • Act main point of contact for landlords and external partners.
  • Negotiate favourable lease terms and minimise exit costs.
  • Manage and resolve landlord/tenant disputes professionally.
  • Monitor and exercise lease breaks and renewals in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with UK property laws and changing legislation.
  • Work with legal teams on contentious matters when required.
  • Maintain accurate, timely updates to the property database.

About You

  • Degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration or similar (preferred).
  • Professional property qualifications MRICS are advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience in estate or property management.
  • Experience with mixed‑use, commercial, and residential property is desirable.
  • Highly organised with strong multitasking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong negotiation abilities and problem‑solving mindset.
  • Confident using property management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Solid understanding of UK property law.
