About The Role
Here at IVC Evidensia, we continue to grow our business and invest significantly in the infrastructure that underpins our local teams. We are looking for an Area Support Manager to work closely with the Area Director across Tayside & Perthshire. This is a key role acting as the bridge between our practices and the wider IVC Evidensia network. You will be a trusted partner to practice leaders, providing hands‑on support, coaching and practical solutions that improve performance, wellbeing and the overall client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop close working relationships with practice leaders and act as the go-to person for troubleshooting across the area
- Maintain regular contact with practices to ensure teams feel supported and connected to the wider IVC Evidensia network
- Support the integration of new acquisitions into the area, including staff onboarding
- Work with the Area Director to identify better ways of working that improve team wellbeing and operational efficiency
- Organise area meetings, including preparation and distribution of agendas, materials and minutes, ensuring actions are completed
- Support practices in the effective use of dashboards and reporting suites, analysing financial and non-financial performance
- Identify trends, areas of underperformance and opportunities for growth
- Provide targeted support to underperforming sites and help implement agreed business plan changes
- Ensure practices adhere to leadership and performance frameworks
- Provide general administrative support including financial administration, HR and recruitment support, performance management and H&S audits
About You
You will be an experienced and confident professional who thrives in a multi-site environment and enjoys supporting leaders through change.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in coaching and mentoring
- Proven ability to motivate, support and inspire leaders and senior colleagues
- Strong understanding of key financial KPIs with the ability to implement tactical responses to improve performance
- Excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams
- Confidence to challenge the status quo where appropriate
- Knowledge of Merlin practice management and Dayforce systems
- Full and valid UK driving licence
Desirable: Broad healthcare knowledge (beneficial but not essential)
