We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Bilton Veterinary Centre on a full‑time basis. Bilton Veterinary Centre is a long‑established, single‑site small animal practice in Rugby, proudly serving the local community for over 75 years. We are a friendly, supportive team with a strong reputation for delivering high standards of patient care and excellent client service. Our well‑equipped practice includes five consulting rooms, two sterile theatres, dedicated dental suites, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound with cardiac probes, in‑house laboratory equipment, ECG, and a newly refurbished isolation suite. As an ISFM Cat Friendly accredited practice, we are committed to providing a calm and comfortable environment for our patients.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. This is a full‑time role working 40 hours per week across a 4‑day working week, with shifts between 8:00am and 7:30pm. Weekend work is shared fairly across the team, with Saturday clinics running until 1:00pm and inpatient care supported until 4:30pm. There are no out‑of‑hours requirements, with care transferred to a dedicated provider outside of these hours.
General Responsibilities Include
- Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first‑opinion caseload
- Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
- Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery
- Run and support nurse‑led clinics, promoting preventative healthcare and client education
