Wilton House Veterinary Clinic is delighted to invite applications from a compassionate, organised and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, dedicated team. As an RVN at Wilton House, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional standards of patient care while supporting clients with clear, empathetic communication, particularly during sensitive and emotional situations.
The role is varied and rewarding, encompassing high‑quality inpatient care for medical and surgical cases, the management and monitoring of anaesthesia, and the delivery of engaging and informative nurse consultations. You will also be involved in essential laboratory procedures and work closely with the wider clinical team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the practice on a day‑to‑day basis.
We are seeking an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with a proven track record of excellent patient care and a positive, proactive approach to teamwork. Wilton House Veterinary Clinic is an established and well‑regarded practice located in the charming town of Guisborough, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The area offers an outstanding quality of life, with beautiful countryside, nearby beaches and easy access to vibrant cities such as Newcastle and Durham. Our clinic is well equipped with a modern operating theatre, digital X‑ray, ultrasound and a fully equipped in‑house laboratory. You will be joining a passionate and supportive team of Veterinary Nurses and Animal Care Assistants who work collaboratively to deliver the highest standards of care.
This full‑time role is based on a 40‑hour working week, with the option of a four‑ or five‑day week from Monday to Friday. Saturday mornings are worked on a one‑in‑four rota from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and there is no out‑of‑hours requirement.
