Overview

We are looking for a qualified veterinary nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. This role can be tailored to your strengths and interests, with a strong focus on learning and CPD. You will be primarily based at our Alderney (Poole) branch, with occasional cover at Kinson if needed. We’re also open to considering a second-year student veterinary nurse for the position.

Role details

Your working week will be Monday to Friday, with a mixture of early and late shifts, plus participation in a 1 in 4 Saturday rota from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. We welcome full-time, part-time, and flexible working options and are happy to discuss arrangements that suit both you and the practice.

About The Practice

Aniwell is a first-opinion small animal practice with branches in Bournemouth and Poole. We’re conveniently located near town centres, beautiful beaches, and the New Forest, with excellent transport links.

Our clinics are fully equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab machines, therapeutic laser, and dental radiography, and we’re proud to be a Gold Cat Friendly Clinic.

Our Poole branch also houses our full endoscopy suite, including rigid and flexible scopes.

What We’re Looking For

We value team members who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and continuous learning. Our team is well-staffed with a high ratio of qualified veterinary nurses, student nurses, receptionists, and support staff. Currently, we have an RVN studying for her anaesthesia certificate and another nurse holding a certificate in ECC.
