Registered Veterinary Nurse β Small Animal (12 Month Fixed Term Contract) at MBM Vets, a multi-site role across Kilmarnock, Beith, and Mauchline within IVC Evidensia.
About MBM Vets
MBM Veterinary Group is a long-established, forward-thinking practice in Ayrshire, close to the coast with convenient transport links to Glasgow and Central Scotland. We provide comprehensive small animal, equine, and farm animal services across branches in Kilmarnock, Mauchline, and Beith.
Team & Culture
You will be joining a dedicated Small Animal team, currently comprising:
- 20 Veterinary Surgeons, including certificate holders in Cardiology and Surgery, and others pursuing further qualifications in Surgery and Internal Medicine.
- 16 Registered Veterinary Nurses, supported by 4 Animal Nursing Assistants and 14 Reception staff.
We are committed to delivering high standards of patient care and clinical excellence, offering a wide range of medical and surgical services in-house, with strong links to referral centres for complex cases.
Flexible Working
We offer up to 40 hours per week, structured over four or five days, depending on preference. The role includes participation in a 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota (8:30am to 1:00pm), with no out-of-hours or on-call duties. Applications from candidates seeking part-time hours or alternative patterns are welcome.
