Overview
Lamond Veterinary Clinic is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and collaborative practice that values high standards of care and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Assist with theatre and surgical procedures
- Perform radiography and dental X-rays
- Deliver general inpatient care
- Conduct nurse consultations
- Manage the pharmacy
- Support the team with administrative tasks
Work environment and facilities
Our practice is fully equipped to provide comprehensive care and features a recently refurbished clinical space. Facilities include a dedicated theatre, digital radiography, dental X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory equipment, and multiparameter monitoring. We also have separate dog and cat wards to support species-specific care and comfort.

Team
You’ll be joining a committed and experienced team of 8 vets, 13 nurses, 2 veterinary care assistants, and 8 support staff. We pride ourselves on a collaborative working culture where every team member is supported and encouraged to thrive.
Working hours
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in a flexible rota pattern between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM
- 2 in 9 Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No out-of-hours or on-call duties
