Overview
Registered Veterinary Nurse (Maternity Cover) – part-time fixed-term role covering maternity leave for 12 months at Summerwood, Blackwood, South Wales. 24 hours per week over 3 x 8 hour shifts, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with varied start times.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care as part of a busy small animal practice.
- Support all clinical areas and work within a team to maintain the smooth running of the practice.
Location and Practice
Easy access to Newport, Cardiff and the surrounding countryside. Summerwood is a small animal practice with four consult rooms, kennel facilities, a theatre and prep area, and modern imaging and lab equipment.The practice offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Ideal Candidate
- Registered Veterinary Nurse with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Previous hospital experience is ideal but not essential; full training provided across all areas.
