Here at Purton Vets, we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. The day-to-day duties include caring for inpatients, theatre work and consulting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing gold standard level of care to all patients who come to our practice.

Hours and Location:
We are looking for 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) with shifts between 08:00 and 19:30. We also work 1:6 Saturdays (08:30 - 13:00) but no out of hours or on call. Part-time applications will be considered (minimum 30 hours).
About Us:
Purton Vets is a small animal practice in a village location on the edge of the Cotswolds. The Cotswold Water Park is within a 10 minutes’ drive that offers a selection of water sports and a beautiful place to walk and explore. The Village of Purton is surrounded by open fields and has a good pub, library, shops and doctors. We also have easy access to the M4. We have lovely clients and many of our staff have been working here for many years.
The practice is modern and has all the usual equipment including dental x-ray which is nurse led, ultrasound, inhouse lab, K-laser, digital X-ray and fixed and rigid scopes. We use keyhole surgery for all our bitch spays. We are a Fear Free practice, and we are proud to ensure our patients' mental health is cared for as well as their physical health.
Currently we have 4 permanent Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 student Nurse and a fantastic support team of Receptionists and Admin staff. We have visiting Orthopaedic and Ophthalmology specialists when required. We like to be involved locally and have done many school talks, careers events, dog shows in the village and surrounding area. We also like to do a team pub quiz in the Angel next door!
