Overview
Join to apply for the Registered Veterinary Nurse FTC role at IVC Evidensia. This is a 12-month fixed term contract based at Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital, Stroud. Suited for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with 1-2 years post qualification experience and an interest in Nurse Clinics.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for small animal patients in clinic and hospital settings.
- Support Nurse Clinics and contribute to a culture of collaboration, learning and excellence in patient care.
Rota and Hours
Typically 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days with a mix of early and late shifts (latest finish 19:30). You will have a 1:5 share in the Saturday role (08:00–14:00) with TOIL. There is no out-of-hours shift. The practice is closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
About the Practice
Stroud branch is equipped with an operating theatre, dedicated dental theatre, X-ray, dental X-ray, portable ultrasound and a newly installed scavenging system. There are separate Cat and Dog wards and an isolation kennel, a Cat reception area, and a spacious waiting room. The practice emphasizes collaboration with regular team and practice meetings; quarterly social events are organised.
