Richmond House Vets, part of the well-established Gatehouse Veterinary Group, are looking for an ambitious and motivated Branch Manager to lead our practice into an exciting new chapter. We are relocating to a brand-new, purpose-built site near Mirfield, fully equipped with modern facilities including a dental suite, separate species wards, digital x-ray, and theatres. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants real influence over how a practice develops and thrives.

About Us

Gatehouse is proud to hold awards for outstanding performance within the Practice Standards Scheme (PSS), and Richmond House Vets will be working towards PSS compliance at General Practice level. We also have a strong focus on learning and development and aim to grow Richmond House Vets into a training practice for veterinary nurses.

The Role

As Branch Manager, You Will:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the practice along with the leadership team
  • Drive the practice forward through relocation and growth
  • Support and develop the clinical and non-clinical team
  • Act as a Clinical Coach, supporting student veterinary nurses
  • Play a key role in achieving and maintaining PSS compliance
  • Work closely with the wider Gatehouse Veterinary Group for support and best practice sharing

  • Confident, proactive, and excited by the opportunity to shape a growing practice
  • Qualified and willing to act as a Clinical Coach (or happy to undertake training if required)

Hours & Rota

The role is based on a 40-hour working week, with hours worked over four or five days. There is a 1-in-4 Saturday morning rota from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and the position does not include any out-of-hours responsibilities.
