Our practice delivers high-quality veterinary care to a large community of pet owners. We are looking for an organised, personable Receptionist to join us on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients and their pets, presenting a professional, knowledgeable image that promotes confidence in our practice.
  • Welcoming clients, handling payments, and arranging follow-up appointments.
  • Answering the telephone, booking appointments, addressing queries and medication requests, and weighing patients.
  • Calling back missed calls or appointments to resolve issues or re-book as required.
  • Maintaining accurate client and patient records in our practice management system.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as scanning documents, checking emails, and assisting with insurance claims.
  • Co-ordinating with Nurses and Vets to clarify client questions and provide pet-care support.
  • Educating clients and actively promoting pet health care plans and insurance where appropriate.
  • Keeping the reception area and consultation rooms clean and tidy.

Hours: 21 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–7:00 pm, with 1 in 5 Saturdays from 8:00 am–12:00 pm.
