Bath Vet Group is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our well-established and supportive team. This role is ideally suited to a vet who is flexible and able to work in both a busy hospital environment and thrive in sole charge at one of our friendly, client-focused branch surgeries. The successful candidate will be confident in delivering a high standard of clinical care, with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on client service.

The position is a first-opinion GP role and will involve a balanced caseload of both routine consultations and surgical procedures. The role will be three days per week plus a 1 in 8 weekend rota, averaging 30.5 hours per week.

Long-established Tier 3 hospital based in Bath:

  • On-site advanced imaging: MRI and CT
  • Digital X-ray and dental X-ray facilities
  • Comprehensive in-house diagnostics
  • Five satellite branches with varying size and facilities
  • Established teams and loyal client base across all sites
  • Central referral site (Rosemary Lodge) houses Bath Veterinary Referrals with specialist clinicians and surgeons

As a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
