We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Rowe Vet Group on a Part-Time basis. Rowe Vet Group has a 24-hour hospital in Bradley Stoke and branches in Thornbury, Yate, Winterbourne, Brimsham and Wotton-under-Edge.
As a valued member of the reception team, you will be the first point of contact for pets and their owners.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction. You'll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
General Responsibilities
- Greeting our clients and their pets in a professional and courteous manner
- Booking, cancelling and changing appointments
- Dealing with queries by phone, email and face to face promptly and professionally
- Advising clients on our preventative healthcare products and promoting Pet Healthcare Plans and pet insurance
- Dispensing medications/prescriptions
- Taking payments, cashing up and all other general admin and reception duties
Your shift pattern will include working on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 1:00pm-7:30pm, Friday 8:00am-2:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-1:00pm.
