We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team for a period of maternity cover of up to 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Nursing duties include inpatient care, theatre, nurse consultations, and dispensary.
  • Occasional reception cover, but most of the time, our nurses can concentrate on being nurses.

About Eaton Veterinary Practice

We are a very supportive team of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Receptionists and a Practice Manager. The practice is located in a village setting on the outskirts of Norwich, a vibrant cultural city with easy access to the countryside and 30 minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. We have excellent links to the A47, A140, and A11 within 5 minutes of the practice. The surgery itself is in a modern, purpose-built building with a spacious waiting area, good ventilation, four consultation rooms including a dedicated nurse consult room, theatre, and imaging room. We also have a prep area that allows a good view of the cattery, with kennels also close by for easy monitoring.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week across four days, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, from 8:30am to 7:30pm. The role also includes participation in a 1 in 6 Saturday morning rota. There are no out-of-hours responsibilities associated with this position.
