Taverham Veterinary Hospital is entering an exciting phase of expansion, offering a fantastic opportunity to join a large, forward-thinking hospital team. Alongside our main hospital, we also operate branch practices at Longwater Lane and Bure Valley, providing a blend of advanced clinical care and strong client continuity.

Our hospital is equipped with excellent facilities including a CT scanner, dental suite, four operating theatres, dedicated cat and dog wards, and isolation facilities. We also offer hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and a veterinary-led cattery, creating a varied and progressive clinical environment.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

  • Deliver a range of nurse-led consultations focused on preventative care and patient wellbeing
  • Run clinics including weight management, wellness checks, diabetic clinics and post-vaccination support
  • Carry out routine procedures such as nail clips, anal gland expression and second vaccinations
  • Support patient admissions and discharges, ensuring a smooth and reassuring client experience
  • Provide nutritional advice and support through dedicated diet clinics
  • Work a part-time rota of 16 hours across 2 days per week (9:00am – 5:30pm, flexible days)
