We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Forest Lodge Vets on a full‑time basis. Part‑time applications will also be considered. Our team is made up of 1 full‑time and 5 part‑time vets, along with 6 dedicated nurses (2 full‑time and 4 part‑time nurses). We also have 2 full‑time VCAs, all working together to provide exceptional care. We foster a supportive and collaborative environment, where every team member plays a vital role in delivering the highest standards of animal care. We are proud to have a highly skilled and experienced nursing team. As a training practice, we value candidates with an interest in coaching, though this is not a requirement. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. This is a full‑time role consisting of five 8‑hour days per week, along with 1:6 Saturdays. No OOH.

General Responsibilities Include

  • Inpatient care for hospitalised and day patients
  • Performing general anaesthetics
  • Lab duties
  • Dispensing medication
