We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Senior RVN to join our friendly Polbeth Branch team on a full-time, maternity cover basis for 15 months.
The Role
You will enjoy a varied role covering surgical and anaesthetic nursing, inpatient care, and nurse clinics, alongside stock management and supporting high standards of health & safety and RCVS Practice Standards compliance. As a senior team member, you will also help drive the practice forward and support the development of the Polbeth practice.

About Us
We are a busy, well-established Veterinary Hospital group with 8 branches and 1 Veterinary Hospital across Fife and Central Scotland. We are committed to delivering outstanding patient care and a high level of service to our clients and proudly provide our own out-of-hours care, ensuring continuity and quality treatment around the clock. Our Cowdenbeath Branch is a recognised clinical training centre for Edinburgh RDSVS veterinary students, and many of our branches as well as our main hospital are RCVS approved training practices reflecting our strong commitment to education and clinical excellence. Across the group, our practices are equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical facilities, including digital X-ray, advanced ultrasound, multi-parameter monitoring, capnography, laparoscopy and endoscopy suites, cat-only waiting and consult rooms, and fully equipped in-house laboratories.
Working Hours
This is a full-time role (40 hours over 4 days) with set shifts between 8:30am-6:30pm, Monday to Friday, including one day per week at our sister branch in Corstorphine. There are no out-of-hours as we are supported by a dedicated night team in Dunfermline. The role may require occasional cover at other Inglis Vets branches as required.

Polbeth is a one vet, one nurse practice, and you will be supported by our dedicated Client Care Advisor. Our full Inglis team is made up of around 100 dedicated colleagues, including over 30 Registered Veterinary Nurses, all working collaboratively in a supportive and professional environment. We are further supported by visiting orthopaedic, ophthalmology and dermatology specialists, allowing us to offer a broad range of advanced care. Learning and development are at the heart of our culture, with vets and nurses currently working towards additional certificates and qualifications.
