Management Accountant, Integrations – Global Business Services at IVC Evidensia

As a GBS Integrations Management Accountant, your primary responsibility is to oversee the integration of newly acquired clinics into the respective RTR systems, processes and overall ways of working in collaboration with GBS and Genpact RTR teams for your market(s). You will also partner with local market-based Merger & Acquisition, Local Finance and Global Acquisition Finance colleagues to ensure that GBS, in partnership with our outsourced provider Genpact, are operationally ready for day 1 trading for all Record to Report activities.
This role requires strong analytical and leadership skills, extensive knowledge of global RTR practices, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a rapidly evolving organisation. You will drive continuous process improvement and leverage technology to optimise processes and reduce manual activities, with a focus on clinics based in Canada. You will ensure alignment to group strategy for the integration of newly acquired clinics and maintain compliant month-end close under IFRS and GAAP requirements.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end month-end reporting for multiple countries and regions, in collaboration with stakeholders, for newly acquired clinics in Canada.
- Establish and maintain relationships with country CFOs, Group Finance, GBS and Genpact management to ensure seamless balance sheet reporting delivery for new clinics.
- Ensure compliance with global group policies, regulations and reporting requirements in each country within your region.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of balance sheet reporting.
- Stay updated with IFRS/GAAP, industry trends, and technologies in global accounting management.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and SLAs to assess month-end reporting performance for newly acquired clinics.
- Oversee relationships with auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders with support from GBS RTR Integrations and Genpact Integrations.
- Provide strategic guidance on balance sheet management for newly acquired clinics in Canada in partnership with local finance leadership.
- Engage in professional networks to foster knowledge exchange and best practices.
Experience / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in a second language (e.g., French) is preferable
- Proven leadership in a complex RTR function, including working with external partners and leading change
- Knowledge of local finance reporting, regulations and compliance across multiple countries
- Extensive experience managing relationships within a finance reporting environment
- Proficiency with finance software/systems (e.g., Oracle, Blackline, Open Accounts)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive process improvements and optimise RTR operations
- Strong analytical skills to assess P&L and Balance Sheet data and make data-driven decisions
- Understanding of data protection regulations and confidentiality in handling financial information
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with global finance regulations and best practices
