Easter Ross Vets in Invergordon is seeking a small animal veterinary surgeon to join our team on a 6‑month FTC. We are a first‑opinion practice where we encourage working up our own medical/surgical cases with access to in‑house blood machines, ultrasound and radiography, whilst having good referral practices on our doorstep. We are highly supportive of vets wishing to obtain certificates, offering full funding for continued education. We also support specialisations in areas of surgery and/or medicine. You will be working across Tain and on occasion Invergordon.
Flexibility: We offer flexible rota patterns and working hours, up to 40 hours per week on weekdays with potential Saturday rota and zero out‑of‑hours commitments. We welcome job‑share arrangements and part‑time applicants.
Responsibilities:
- Provide small animal clinical and surgical care.
- Develop and manage medical and surgical cases using in‑house diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with referral partners and support residents.
- Participate in community events such as agricultural and dog shows.
Qualifications:
- Registered professional veterinary surgeon.
- Experience in small animal medicine and/or surgery.
- Willingness to pursue additional specialisations, CPD and certifications.
