We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Park View Veterinary Hospital on a part‑time basis. Park View Veterinary Hospital is an accredited Small Animal Veterinary Hospital and boasts a team of 5.5 experienced vets, including specialists with medical and surgical certificates, supported by 9 dedicated RVNs and 7 receptionists who provide fantastic support. Our hospital is exceptionally well equipped, with dedicated dog, cat, and exotic wards, two theatres, and an on‑site laboratory. We also have a digital X‑ray suite with a Bucky table and grid, a dedicated dental theatre with dental radiography, and a MyLab ultrasound machine with both abdominal and cardiac probes. Additional facilities include laparoscopic equipment, an endoscope and bronchoscope, as well as a wide range of orthopaedic equipment, electrocautery, and cryotherapy, allowing us to provide a high standard of care across a varied caseload.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

General Responsibilities

  • Running nurse clinics

Working Hours

This is a part‑time position of 15 hours per week, worked over two 7.5‑hour days. The role also includes working two Saturday mornings in every eight, on a rotating basis. You'll be part of a supportive nursing team working across a mixed rota, and may occasionally be required to provide cover at our branch practice in Witham St Hughs. The role may also involve occasional sole charge responsibilities.
