Join to apply for the Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal role at IVC Evidensia. Salary up to £50,000 DOE. Pool House Veterinary Group is a 24hr, 4 site practice. We are a team of 20 vets with a wide range of experience and skills including certificate holders in Anaesthesia, ECC, Imaging and Surgery, with more of our team working towards additional certificates. We are a busy practice with a truly varied workload.
We run our own OOH with a team of designated night vets and nurses, but many of our day team opt to partake in our night rota. We encourage new/recent graduates to be involved with this rota as we feel it is an excellent way to learn and develop your skills, with the reassurance of a support rota from the senior vet team if needed.
Ideally we are offering a 4 day week with a set day off, 10 hour days. Shifts run 8.30am – 7pm with a share of late shift (11am–9pm). Weekends are on rota basis (approx 1 in 5). Saturday and Sunday 10 hour shifts with equivalent time off in lieu the following week. Contribution to night rota is encouraged but negotiable.
Our practice boasts a number of facilities including X‑ray, dental X‑ray, laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, ultrasound and comprehensive lab. We are a long‑standing practice with a dedicated and supportive team. We pride ourselves on high standards of patient care and customer service.
