Location: New Malden Vets, a practice situated south‑west of London near Wimbledon and Kingston-upon-Thames – 25 minutes by train to central London.
About the Practice
We are a high‑standard general veterinary practice with a range of four consulting rooms, a dedicated prep room and theatre, separate dental, X‑ray and ultrasound areas, multiparameter anaesthetic monitors, bronchoscopy equipment, and a full surgical kit. We hold Gold‑Standard “Cat Friendly Clinic” status, with separate cat and dog waiting rooms and kennels designed to minimise stress.
Responsibilities
- Consultations and routine round‑ups for small animals
- Perform surgeries – both routine and more complex procedures such as enterotomies, cystotomies and caesarean sections
- Manage dedicated administrative time for documentation and case management
- Work with a full‑time schedule covering 4 days a week, typically 1–2 early and late shifts per week and one full Saturday block; no out‑of‑hours duty
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of vets, nurses, students and staff to maintain high standards of patient care
- Participate in CPD, clinical clubs, and knowledge sharing sessions to continuously advance clinical practice
