The P2P Global Process Owner is a key leadership role responsible for managing and improving the end‑to‑end Procure‑to‑Pay process on a global level. This role involves strategic planning, process optimisation, and ensuring efficient procurement and payment procedures while maintaining compliance. You will be responsible for functional strategy, design, policies, transformation, and standardization of the end‑to‑end processes, suitable for a large, rapidly expanding international business. The GPO’s impact on the business should be wholly positive. The GPO is charged with designing the process so that it supports the best interests of the business and delivering changes that result in an attractive ROI. The GPO must see that this impact is clearly understood by the business.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Work with various global stakeholders across multiple business areas to ensure solutions meet business requirements, including but not limited to efficiency, quality and compliance standards, and will bring best practice processes technologies.
  • As a senior appointment critical to the IVC business and Finance function, the GPO will form part of the SSC senior leadership team and work along the SSC Functional (AP) Lead and various key Procurement team members.
  • The GBS Functional Lead is responsible for day‑to‑day service delivery and management of the function, whilst the GPO is responsible for ultimate ownership of processes, working with various senior business stakeholders to ensure fit for purpose solutions, compliance and ongoing continuous improvement of end‑to‑end processes (not limited to SSC elements).
  • Be separate to, however, have direct access and work with the Continuous Improvements (“CI”) execution team.
  • The GPO will play a pivotal role in identifying and landing process and technology improvements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with multiple non‑GBS stakeholders, including in‑country CFOs.
