Richmond House Vets, part of the well-established Gatehouse Veterinary Group, are looking for an ambitious and motivated Senior RVN to lead our practice into an exciting new chapter. We are relocating to a brand-new, purpose-built site near Mirfield, fully equipped with modern facilities including a dental suite, separate species wards, digital x-ray, and theatres. We also have a strong focus on learning and development and aim to grow Richmond House Vets into a training practice for veterinary nurses.

How You'll Make a Difference
As a Senior Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high standards of nursing care while supporting and developing colleagues within the practice. You’ll manage more complex nursing cases, act as a source of guidance for the nursing team, and contribute to maintaining and improving clinical standards, workflows, and patient outcomes. You’ll work closely with the wider practice team to support excellent patient and client care.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead the day‑to‑day management of the practice along with the leadership team
- Drive the practice forward through relocation and growth
- Support and develop the clinical and non‑clinical team
- Act as a Clinical Coach, supporting student veterinary nurses
- Play a key role in achieving and maintaining PSS compliance
- Work closely with the wider Gatehouse Veterinary Group for support and best practice sharing
Hours & Rota
The role is based on a 40‑hour working week, with hours worked over four or five days. There is a 1‑in‑4 Saturday morning rota from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and the position does not include any out‑of‑hours responsibilities.
