At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do.

As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.

Scarsdale Veterinary Group is a leading veterinary provider in the Midlands, based in Derby.

We are committed to delivering exceptional veterinary care for pets, horses, and farm animals, with a focus on outstanding customer service and high-quality care.

Our largest practice, Pride Veterinary Centre, is a 24/7 hospital offering both first opinion and referral care across multiple disciplines.

We also operate additional veterinary practices in Derby, Nottingham, and Burton upon Trent, along with a dedicated farm and equine practice.

How You’ll Make a Difference

Your role as Client Care Advisor at The Pride Veterinary Centre and sites will be very varied and fast paced.

We need applicants who have skills in remaining positive and professional at all times, regardless of what is happening around them and their current workload.

You will be taking referral calls from other practices, making appointments, assisting clients with queries on the phone as well as in person, reassuring clients, listening to their needs, taking payments, and solving problems.

Attention to detail is essential, as is enjoyment of being in a busy customer care role.

As the appointments within the Referrals side of the practice aren’t the usual check-up or vaccination, the pets and their owners may have travelled some distance to be with us in order to obtain the best specialist care.

Having consideration for this added element to their visit would be a helpful aptitude.

  • This is a part-time role working 16 hours per week
  • 2 x 8 hour shifts, working 1 in 2 weekends and in between the hours of 7am and 11pm.
