A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join Blaircourt Equine Veterinary Clinic, a well‑established and highly respected equine practice situated in the Essex countryside, close to Chelmsford. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to become a key part of our dynamic and sociable team on a permanent, long‑term basis.
This role would suit a senior clinician who enjoys a varied caseload, including ambulatory work, with a particular emphasis on orthopaedic and performance investigations alongside surgical procedures. You’ll play an integral role within the clinical team, delivering excellent patient care while supporting the ongoing development of colleagues around you. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a collaborative approach to patient care, and a natural ability to mentor and support others. This is a full‑time position working Monday to Friday, 9am‑5pm, with participation in a shared out‑of‑hours rota.
