We are seeking an Accounts and Insurance Administrator to join our team at Delaware Vets on a part‑time basis. You will be joining a busy practice team, focused on providing a high level of patient and client care whilst exercising a strong ethos for maintaining a healthy work/life balance and supporting each other's wellbeing.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As Accounts & Insurance Administrator you are responsible for the insurance claim process; from the initial contact to establish current insurance cover, the submission of insurance claims and any queries that may follow, through to settlement, providing clear, empathetic communication to clients regarding claims.
You will also provide support to the accounting processes in the form of taking payments, banking & debt management, petty cash and dealing with charities and Care Fund applications. Assisting with any other admin tasks that are required within the Practice Management team, all while providing a professional and knowledgeable impression to promote the Practice and give confidence to our clients.
Working Pattern
- 25 hours per week
- Monday – Friday 8.30 am – 1.30 pm

The ideal candidate will be organised and methodical in their approach to work with an attention to detail. You will have good written and verbal communication skills, enjoy problem‑solving and helping and supporting clients. Previous experience managing insurance claims would be an advantage; similar fast‑paced administrative or customer‑focused background would also be great.
