We’re seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join Eden Veterinary Centre on a part‑time, fixed‑term contract (13‑month maternity cover). With a strong focus on flexibility, wellbeing, and clinical quality, this role is ideal for someone balancing other commitments, offering a flexible working pattern and no out‑of‑hours requirements within a supportive, collaborative team.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
Part‑time role working 15–20 hours per week with a flexible working pattern:
- 1 evening surgery per week
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
- No OOH commitment
- Deliver high‑quality first‑opinion care across consults and surgery
- Work closely with a strong nursing team and support colleagues through case discussions and collaboration
- Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous clinical improvement
