Here at Overdale Vets, Buxton we’re on the lookout for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our established team on a temporary basis to cover a 12-month maternity contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team. The role offers a well balanced caseload of ops and consults.
Rota patterns that work for you
Our people are at the heart of everything that we do, that’s why we know that work-life balance is vital in supporting our people to be their best selves. We’re happy to offer flexibility to support both full and part time roles. Ideally, we’re looking for someone to work up to 40 hours per week by covering 4 days per week, along with 1:5 Saturdays. During week day shifts, you’ll have two late finishes per week (18:30/19:00).
A Bit About Us
Our clinical team is made of 5 full time vets & 2 part time vets (1x CertAVP). The vets are supported by 4 full time nurses, 3 part time nurses and two VCAs. We have all the typical kit that you’d come to expect from a modern practice with: Digital dental and normal Xray, ultrasound (inc cardio), dental equip, ortho kit available.
